During the first half of this week, conditions characteristic of February will be maintained. Trade winds will remain accelerated (high pressure systems in the north and over the Caribbean Sea basin will present gusts between 40-60 km/h with maximums in mountains between 70-95 km/h), in addition, there will be low humidity content.

For Thursday, a slight increase in humidity is expected, which will bring the possibility of occasional rain for the Caribbean regions, while, for the Central and South Pacific, it is likely the presence of localized rain showers in the afternoon, favored by sea breezes, in addition to the slight decrease in the pattern of trade winds over the country (less noticeable over the North Pacific).

Daytime temperatures will remain high during these days, with the presence of cool mornings and early mornings, especially in the first half of the period under consideration.

Mornings: Early in the period, mostly sunny over the Pacific with few clouds in the Caribbean. Brisk trade winds over the Central Valley, North Pacific and surrounding mountain ranges. Partly cloudy and occasionally cloudy from Thursday onward for the Caribbean and part of the Northern Zone, with occasional showers possible.

 

Afternoons: Showers and very localized downpours in the Central Pacific and mountainous South and around the Golfo Dulce in the South Pacific from Wednesday onwards. Partial to mostly cloudy Caribbean regions and Northern Zone Thursday onwards, with occasional showers possible. Possible rain in the western periphery of the Central Valley on Thursday. 

 

Nights: Cloudy to partly cloudy Thursday through Saturday for the Caribbean, with occasional isolated rain. Cloudy to partly cloudy in the Central Pacific with very localized rain of short duration.
