Aguaceros esta tarde en el Pacífico Central y Sur

30 de junio de 2020

Diagnóstico:  Factores locales aunados a la inestabilidad en la atmósfera alta propiciarán aguaceros con tormenta esta tarde en la vertiente del Pacífico.

Pronóstico: Para esta tarde se esperan aguaceros fuertes con tormenta a lo largo de vertiente del Pacífico, especialmente en el Pacífico Central y Sur, así como en la península de Nicoya de manera dispersa, con montos estimado entre 50-60 mm en periodos de 6 horas.

En la Zona Norte, Caribe y Valle Central habrá cielo mayormente nublado, en particular en estas regiones, no se esperan lluvias significativas hoy, de darse precipitaciones se prevén aisladas, montos estimados menores a 20 mm.

Advertencia: Especial atención durante la tarde en el Pacífico Central y Pacífico Sur que son regiones que este martes ya presentan suelos saturados.  

Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:

  • Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado. 
  • Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
  • Atención en las principales carreteras nacionales, como la ruta 27 y la ruta 32.
