Onda tropical #13 saliendo del país esta noche

29 de junio de 2020

Diagnóstico:  El tránsito de la onda tropical #13 y lo inestable de la atmósfera han provocado aguaceros intensos con tormenta en varios sectores del país esta tarde, especialmente en el Pacífico Sur, Valle Central y Caribe Norte.

Los acumulados son los siguientes hasta esta hora: Zona Norte 5-35 mm, Pacífico Norte 5-30 mm, Pacífico Central y Sur entre 20-70mm, Valle Central 10-70 mm (los mayores en Alajuela y Heredia), Caribe Norte 50-60 mm y Caribe Sur menores a 10 mm. Se registró, la caída de granizo en Alajuela.

Pronóstico: Para esta noche se esperan aguaceros fuertes con tormenta en las primeras horas a lo largo de la costa del Pacífico, con montos estimado entre 5-35 mm, especialmente en Guanacaste y Pacífico Sur.

En la Zona Norte, Caribe y Valle Central habrá neblina y lluvias débiles y moderadas intermitentes solamente al iniciar la noche, montos estimados menores a 20 mm.

Advertencia: Especial atención en este periodo nocturno a lugares como el Pacífico Norte, Zona Norte y Pacífico Sur.  

Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:

  • Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado. 
  • Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
  • Atención en las principales carreteras nacionales, como la ruta 27 y la ruta 32.
