Onda tropical #13

Diagnóstico:  la cercanía de la Zona de Convergencia intertropical, así como el paso de la onda tropical #13 y lo inestable de la atmósfera son factores que favorecen las condiciones lluviosas en la región hoy lunes.

Durante esta tarde, ya se han empezado a registrar aguaceros intensos con tormenta en varios sectores del país, especialmente en el Pacífico Sur con acumulados entre 30 a 42 mm en la última hora. Además, se registran lluvias fuertes con tormenta en la Zona Norte y al noroeste del Valle Central con montos entre 10 a 25 mm hasta el momento.

Pronóstico: Para lo que resta de la tarde seguirán desarrollándose aguaceros fuertes con tormenta a lo largo de la costa del Pacífico, con montos estimado entre 25-70 mm.

En la Zona Norte y Valle Central los aguaceros con tormenta se presentarán de manera intermitente durante la tarde y durante la noche, con montos estimados 15-50 mm.

En las regiones del Caribe, se tendrán condiciones lluviosas en las regiones montañosas durante la tarde y noche con montos ente 10-40 mm, en los sectores costeros las lluvias serán aisladas.

Advertencia: Especial atención lugares sensibles luego de las lluvias de ayer como el Pacífico, así como en los sectores montañosos de la Zona Norte y del Valle Central.

Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:

  • Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado. 
  • Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
  • Atención en las principales carreteras nacionales, como la ruta 27 y la ruta 32.
