Lluvias en el Caribe durante la madrugada y onda tropical #12

Diagnóstico:  Los vientos alisios entre moderados a fuertes aunados a la inestabilidad en la atmósfera alta, sigue ocasionando núcleos de nubosidad y lluvias en la zona marítima frente al Caribe costarricense.

Pronóstico: Se anticipa que los vientos alisios persistan esta noche y mañana sábado entre moderadas y fuertes, con mayor percepción en el Valle Central y Pacífico Norte, se estiman ráfagas entre 40-80 km/h. Por lo tanto, en la Zona Norte y Caribe se estarán manifestando lluvias en horas de la madrugada y la mañana de este sábado, se estiman montos entre 25-40 mm.

Además, se espera la llegada de la onda tropical #12 este sábado por la tarde, lo cual podría acentuar la nubosidad y la ocurrencia de lluvias en el país.

Advertencia: Especial atención en las regiones de la Zona Norte y montañas del Caribe ya que muestran niveles importantes de saturación.

Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:

  • Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado. 
  • Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
  • Atención en las principales carreteras nacionales, como la ruta 27 y la ruta 32.
