Lluvias de variable intensidad esta tarde en el país

Diagnóstico: La Zona de Convergencia Intertropical está localizada sobre el país este domingo; aunado a esto, factores locales como la humedad y el calentamiento, así como la inestabilidad característica de la atmósfera en la región, estarán provocando lluvias con actividad eléctrica durante la tarde y primeras horas de la noche de hoy domingo.

Pronóstico:  En lo que resta de la mañana y por la tarde se espera que la cobertura de nubes siga en desarrollo en el Pacífico y Zona Norte provocando aguaceros con tormenta, acumulados para hoy de 20-50 mm. En el Caribe, especialmente en llanuras y montañas, así como en el Valle Central se anticipan lluvias de variable intensidad, tormenta eléctrica y neblina esta tarde, montos entre 10-35 mm.

Durante la noche, el sector que tiene mayor potencial de precipitaciones a nivel costero es la vertiente del Pacífico, especialmente en el norte y sur de la misma.

Advertencia: Para este lunes en particular, estará llegando al país la onda tropical # 6, se anticipa su ingreso durante la tarde se este día; reforzando la actividad lluviosa en el norte y sur del Pacífico y en la Zona Norte.

Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:

  • Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado, aumento de caudal en ríos y quebradas, además en sectores propensos a deslizamientos.
  • Prevención en las principales rutas nacionales.
  • Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
