Condiciones lluviosas vespertinas en todo el Pacífico y Valle Central

Diagnóstico: La humedad proveniente de los sectores marítimos y las cálidas temperaturas que se manifestaron en la mañana, son factores que favorecen los aguaceros vespertinos.
Pronóstico: Durante horas de la tarde se tendrá lluvias de variable intensidad y tormenta eléctrica en el Valle Central, Pacífico Norte y Zona Norte, acumulados entre 20-50 mm. Por otra parte, en el Pacífico Central y Pacífico Sur se esperan lluvias dispersas con tormenta aislada, montos entre 10-70 mm. En el resto del país no se esperan lluvias significativas. No se prevén lluvias en el Caribe costero.
Advertencia: las precipitaciones al ser locales serán intensas en períodos cortos de tiempo con presencia de tormenta eléctrica, por lo que, aunque los montos no se prevén tan altos las intensidades de lluvia si lo serán.
Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:
- Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones, más aún en sectores con actividad lluviosa reciente.
- Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
