Quality policy

The National Meteorological Institute (IMN) is committed to offering quality Meteorological Information Services for air navigation, with the aim of contributing to its operational management.
To fulfill this commitment, the IMN will adopt the following principles:

 

  1. Provide accurate, timely and accessible meteorological information, adapted to the needs of our users and other interested parties.
  2. Promote continuous improvement in our processes, products and services, through the regular review of practices, continuous training of staff and the implementation of advanced technologies.
  3. Comply with current national and international standards and regulations related to aeronautical meteorology.
  4. Promote collaboration with interested parties, including international organizations, government entities and non-governmental organizations, to improve the quality of our services.
  5. Train and professionally develop staff, to provide them with the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to offer the service.
