Lluvias de variable intensidad la noche de este jueves

Diagnóstico: Condiciones atmosféricas inestables propiciaron la ocurrencia de lluvias y aguaceros en varios puntos del territorio nacional. Con corte a la 5:00 pm, los acumulados máximos registrados durante esta tarde por región son:

A esta hora, precipitaciones de variable intensidad continúan en gran parte del territorio nacional, las más intensas en el Caribe Norte y la Zona norte. Además, también se presentan chubascos con tormenta eléctrica en el Pacífico Sur, pero de manera más dispersa. En el resto del país las lluvias son de intensidad débil.

 

 

Pronóstico:  En la noche de este jueves continuarán las lluvias intermitentes de intensidad entre débil y moderada en el Valle Central, Caribe Sur y Pacífico Norte, especialmente cerca de las partes montañosas. Por otro lado, en el Caribe Norte y Zona Norte precipitaciones de variable intensidad se prevén para las primeras horas, particularmente en las cercanías de la frontera con Nicaragua se proyectan las precipitaciones más fuertes con aguaceros y tormenta eléctrica.  En el Pacífico Central y Sur también durante las primeras horas, se anticipan lluvias y aguaceros dispersos en las zonas altas y cercanías.

 

Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:

 

  • Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado, aumento de caudal en ríos y quebradas, además en sectores propensos a deslizamientos.
  • Prevención en rutas nacionales como: ruta 1, ruta 10, ruta 27, ruta 21, ruta 32, ruta 34, ruta 141 y ruta 126.
  • Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
