Potencial depresión tropical # 16 en el mar Caribe

Diagnóstico: La onda tropical #33 se ha fortalecido en la potencial depresión tropical # 16. Según el Centro Nacional de Huracanes (NHC por sus siglas en inglés) existe un alto potencial de desarrollo en una depresión tropical de 90 % en las próximas 48 horas.
Pronóstico: Los últimos análisis indican que dicho disturbio se trasladará hacia el oeste sobre el golfo de Honduras, fortaleciéndose posiblemente en tormenta tropical para hoy en la noche; se estima mayor cercanía a Costa Rica alrededor del miércoles 2 de septiembre, cuando se ubique sobre Honduras. Debido a su posible posición y fortalecimiento, hay probabilidad de influencia indirecta generando un reforzamiento de la actividad lluviosa en el Pacífico, sin embargo, en los análisis actuales este reforzamiento será aislado y poco generalizado.
El IMN mantendrá estricto seguimiento de la evolución de dicho este sistema e informará oportunamente de cualquier variación del mismo y su posible influencia al país.
