unstable atmosphere after the passage of tropical wave # 12 through the country

Diagnosis: This Sunday the atmospheric instability is high in the country, after the passage of tropical wave # 12 yesterday Saturday.
Forecast: In the afternoon isolated storm showers are expected along the Pacific coast, with estimated amounts between 25-50mm; being the South Pacific where the maximum amounts of up to 90 mm are recorded.
In the Northern Zone, isolated rains would occur towards the end of the afternoon and during the night, with estimated amounts of 15-30mm.
In the Central Valley, the rains will be scattered. These rains may occur in the late afternoon and early evening, with the possibility of a thunderstorm at the beginning of the night. Total amounts between 5-20 mm and maximums of 30 mm are estimated.
In the Caribbean regions, scattered rain over the mountains in the afternoon; while, it is maintained that in the probability of rains near the coast in the early hours of the night; with maximum amounts of this 50mm in a timely manner.
Warning: Pay special attention to sensitive places after yesterday's rains such as the South Pacific, and mountains as much in the Northern Zone as the Caribbean.
Due to the above, the IMN recommends:
• Caution in areas vulnerable to flooding due to sewerage saturation.
• Take refuge in a safe place in case of hearing an electrical storm or perceiving strong gusts of wind near storm clouds, as well as precaution for possible fall of tree branches, power lines, among others.
• Attention on the main national highways, such as route 27 and route 32.
