Weather Warning
Rainy conditions during tonight - early morning in the national territory October 21, 2020 03:00 a.m.
October 21, 2020
02:30 a.m.
Diagnosis: this Wednesday the positioning of the Intertropical Convergence Zone, the unstable atmosphere and the entry of humidity from the Pacific are factors that favor rainy conditions. During the night-early morning there were rainy conditions of variable intensity in most of the national territory. The largest amounts are registered in the South Pacific, Central Pacific, the Caribbean and the North.
Forecast: Generalized rain conditions of variable intensity over the country will continue for the rest of the morning.
Warning: Special attention for possible incidents due to saturation of soils in the South Pacific, in the upper parts of the North Zone, the Central Pacific and the mountainous Caribbean.
Due to the above, the IMN recommends:
• Caution in areas vulnerable to flooding due to sewerage saturation.
• Take shelter in a safe place in case you hear an electrical storm or perceive strong gusts of wind near the storm clouds, as well as caution against possible falling tree branches, power lines, among others.
