Weather Warning

Sahara Dust Layer in Costa Rica

Discussion: The country continues immersed in this Friday in a mass of dust from the Sahara, it is observed in the form of a white haze in the environment, reducing visibility mainly towards the horizon; in addition to generating a hot environment and occasional gusts of wind.

Forecast: According to the latest analyzes, the presence of dust will be perceived the rest of the week; however, the concentration of its particulate tends to decrease gradually towards the weekend.

The IMN will continue to duly monitor this phenomenon and update this information daily.
